Original 1st printing 21&3/4 x 31&1/2" concert poster for "Wavy Gravy's 50th Birthday Benefit for Just About Everything", held at the Berkeley (CA) Community Theatre on 5/15/1986.

 Art by Greg Irons and Alton Kelley (lettering) and Ruby Lee (portrait) the show featured appearances by the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia (with John Kahn), Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, the (Paul) Kantner (Marty) Balin (Jack) Casady Band (Jefferson Airplane), Paul Krassner, Ken Kesey and the birthday boy himself (who also signed the poster in black flair pen), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 589 (plate 4.74). 

 Medium glossy stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a series of small to medium-sized edge creases, a number of handling/pinch bends, a 3 x 4" area of creasing in the middle of the "Wavy Gravy" lettering, a couple of tiny thin stress bends and a couple of dog-earred corners, otherwise fine. 

 Great-looking SIGNED Wavy Gravy poster from this perennially favorite annual Bay Area charity event. Awesome poster with an all-star Bay Area lineup and a nice large Wavy G. signature.
