Original 1st printing (no red dot at 3:00 in the sphere) 13&7/8 x 20" concert poster for Lothar & the Hand People appearing on 9/29/1967 and the Doors appearing on 9/30/1967, both supported by Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band at the Family Dog at 1601 West Evans in Denver, CO. Art by Raphael (was Bob) Schnepf, image is # 84/D-4 in the Family Dog/Denver series. Medium flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B/B- to B-) condition; tack/staple holes (all four corners, top/bottom center with a small wedge pull in the top right corner tip (about 1/4"), a 1" tear in the bottom center margin, a slight amount of moisture warping to the paper, a light amount of toning, a 2" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a couple of tiny thin vertical stress bends near the top of the circle, a couple of semi-soft horizontal roll bends, tape pulls/pieces of old masking tape and pencil scratch (original recipient's name) on the reverse, otherwise fine. While this one has a few conditional issues, it is still a very decent-looking example of the 1st printing FD 84 poster. KILLER Doors image!
