Original 1st printing 28&7/8 x 19&1/4" art show/event poster, "El Chingadero", an art exhibit by Texas artist Boyd Elder, held at an un-named gallery/space in Venice Beach, CA from 4/2-30/1973. Art by Boyd's good friend, the legendary Rick Griffin- the image depicts Boyd's twisted journey from Texas to California in a Ford pickup. Thin flat index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a pair of 1/2" tears in the upper right margin, a series of thin bends and light creases running along the length of the top margin, a 1/2" tear in a the lower right edge, a few tiny edge nicks and additional tiny edge tears (1/8" or less), a hint of surface wear and a couple of very well-camouflaged stress bends hiding within the image area, otherwise fine. An overall superb-looking example of one of Rick Griffin's Southwestern-themed early-'70's masterpieces. LOTS of stuff going on in this one...
