Original 1st printing 4&1/8 x 7" concert handbill for the Grateful Dead appearing with It's A Beautiful Day and Theater of Madness at the H.I.C. Exhibition Center in Honolulu, HI from 7/25-27/1969* (show canceled).
Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Hawaiian Aoxoamoxoa") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 291 (plate 3.116 (reprint)- this is the 1st edition).
Medium-thick flat index stock handbill is in good (B) condition; a pair of diagonal bends (approximately 2" and 3/4") in the upper right corner, a pair of soft surface/bleed stains in the right side of the sun (*from about 2:00-4:00) and in between "Beautiful" and "Day", along with a couple of tiny soft corner bumps, a hint of rippling/waviness and a decent-sized moisture stain and a couple of pin-prick ink marks on the reverse, otherwise fine.
Very sweet-looking 1st printing example of this classic (and hard-to-find) Rick Griffin Grateful Dead image from Hawaii.
