Original 1st printing 4&1/8 x 7" blank-reverse concert handbill for the Detroit Pop Festival, an all-day multi-act show held at Olympia Stadium in Detroit, MI on 4/7/1969. Acts/bands listed include MC5, Sweetwater, SRC, the Amboy Dukes (featuring Ted Nugent), Bob Seger, Frost, Frijid Pink, Plain Brown Wrapper, Frut of the Loom, HP & the Grass Route Movement, Caste, Up, Unrelated RSegments, Mandala, the Rationals, Wilson Mower Pursuit, Savage Grace, Red, White & Blues Band, Third Power and Train. Design by Carl Lundgren, medium-thin index stock handbill is in fantastic near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; only a hint of surface wear, a small light tape pull on the reverse and that's pretty much it... a VERY clean example otherwise. UNCOMMON 1969 Detroit-area concert item, check out a great MC5 photo and first-hand account of the event on Dennis Thompson's (MC5) page; http://www.machinegunspage.com/2015/04/mc5-rocks-detroit-pop-festival-at.html
