Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 7/22-23/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (with the central image borrowed from Franz (Von) Stuck), image is # 17 in the Family Dog/Avalon series (this version is purple ink on white stock, OHB-a in the Eric King guide).
Thin flat stock flyer is in gorgeous near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; a couple of tiny ultra-soft pinch dings, a nearly-invisible 1&1/2" diagonal bend in the lower left corner tip and a tiny nick or two along the bottom edge, otherwise fine.
An overall very crisp example of this early Mouse/Kelley flyer from the Avalon.
