Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 22&1/2" concert poster for Janis Joplin (and Her (Kozmik Blues) Band) appearing with the James Cotton Blues Band at the Fairgrounds Arena in Oklahoma City, OK on 10/25/1969 (*show may have been canceled). Design by R. McIntosh and BG Vesper, medium-thick flat vellum stock (almost like construction paper) concert poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a pronounced horizontal crease traversing the image area just above "James Cotton Blues Band", a series of thin bends/creases in the lower portion of the image area, a soft horizontal bend about 2" under "Jan", a few stray surface marks and small handling bends/creases, a series of tiny edge/corner dings and a 3-4" thin diagonal bend in the upper left corner, otherwise fine. KILLER low-run regional Janis Joplin concert poster from the Fall 1969 tour, apparently most of these were put up at the time of the show and very few remain in circulation. The jury is still out on whether or not this show happened.
