Original 1st printing 40&5/8 x 32&1/2" extra-large concert/event poster for the Midwest Rock Festival, held at the State Park Fair Grandstand in West Allis, WI (near Milwaukee) from 7/25-27/1969.
Art by Dahlen-Brulc, no bands/acts are listed (poster was a souvenir sold at the event), but the lineup included: Led Zeppelin, Buffy Sainte-Marie, S.R.C., Sweetwater, the First Edition (with Kenny Rogers), Pacific Gas & Electric and Shag (7/25), Blind Faith (with Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech), Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, MC5, Taste (with Rory Gallagher), John Mayall, S.R.C. and Shag (7/26) and Jeff Beck, Joe Cocker & the Grease Band, Johnny Winter, Jethro Tull, Zephyr (with Tommy Bolin), MC5, the Bob Seger System and Jim Schwall (of Siegal-Scwall).
Extra-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a fairly heavy degree of rolling/curling (this poster has probably been rolled up since the event and retains a serious curl to the paper), along with a series of thin horizontal stress bends along the left/right margin and a few more within the image area, edge/corner wear (small bends/tiny creases), a few light surface scuffs and tiny thin scratches here and there, otherwise fine.
REALLY cool-looking "pop art" design on this poster with extra bright colors and great lettering. This was the ONLY time Led Zeppelin and Blind Faith shared the bill, check out this first-hand account of the event (including a photo of Blind Faith performing onstage) HERE;
