Original 1st printing 11 x 13&7/8" cardboard concert mini-poster and 6 x 2&1/2" unused ticket for the one and only Joe Cocker appearing with Nicky Hopkins, Bobby Keys and the American Standard Band, along with Harvey Mandel and Crowhaven at the South Bend Motor Speedway in South Bend, IN on 7/8/1978.
Designer unknown, thick cardboard stock boxing-style poster is in decent (B/B- to B-) condition; a fair amount of toning/discoloration covering most of the poster, with the exception of a 6 x 2" lighter area in the top center margin (the ticket had been affixed to the poster in this spot), along with tack/nail holes in the top/bottom center margins, a 1" crescent shaped "punch" tear just above the "o" of Motor", a few edge/corner dings, a hint of warping to the board, a few tiny surface scrapes and tiny scuffs, otherwise fine. The ticket has uneven toning (darker on the left side), a nail hole in the top center, surface wear, a bit of marker scratch on the reverse ("No Good")... about a B to B/B- condition as well. While there may be a few conditional issues on these items, they are probably not too many of them out there... VERY obscure Midwest items.
REALLY cool-looking late-'70's Joe Cocker poster/ticket combo, this looks like it was one heck of a show.
