Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Andrew Staples at the Old Cheese Factory in San Francisco, CA on 11/12/1966 (*this was the band's 1st anniversary of performing under the "Grateful Dead" name).

 Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 186 (plate 2.185).

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a set of tack holes in all four corners, a light to moderate degree of toning, a soft diagonal bend and a couple of horizontal drip stains in the bottom left corner tip, a minor amount of handling wear and a light amount of surface dirt, otherwise fine.

 Classic late '66 Mouse/Kelley image from a tiny one-off local gig by the Dead, this was one of only a very few events held at the venue. For fun, here's a nice compilation of live GD from 1966;
