Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" benefit* (for 1st Congressional District write-in candidate Phil Drath) concert/event flyer for Brazilian jazz guitarist Bola Sete (*replacing Joan Baez and Mimi Farina) appearing with the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service, along with speakers Ed Keating and Don Duncan at the Mount Tamalpais Outdoor Amphitheater in Marin, CA on 10/8/1966. Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image ("PEACE") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 228 (plate 2.327)- this is the 3rd/final-state version that was distributed. Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; a whisper of toning, an ultra-soft 2" diagonal bend in the upper right corner/margin, a few ultra-soft handling creases and tiny edge dings and a couple of well camouflaged pin-prick surface spots, otherwise fine. An overall GORGEOUS specimen of this early Grateful Dead/Mouse-Kelley image from the Art of Rock, this particular version almost NEVER turns up in nice shape.
