Original 1st printing 12&3/4 x 24&3/4" concert poster for "Night of the Hurricane", a benefit concert for ex-boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, held at the Astrodome in Houston, TX on 1/25/1976.
The event was headlined by Bob Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Revue (featuring Bob Neuwirth, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Roger McGuinn and Mick Ronson), and also featured appearances by Stevie Wonder, Isaac Hayes, Dr. John, Ringo Starr, Stephen Stills, Carlos Santana and Shawn Phillips.
Art by (and SIGNED and numbered 100/100 in pencil by) F. Carson, image is featured in "The Art of Rock" on page 363 (plate 4.160).
Medium-thick high-gloss coated stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a thin hard 2" diagonal bend and a couple of small creases in the upper left corner tip, a soft bend in the upper right corner, a few thin surface scuffs and tiny scratches and a hint of edge/corner wear, otherwise fine.
An extremely uncommon Dylan concert image from the "Art of Rock", apparently VERY few of these posters were released (Dylan didn't like his portrait).
