Original 1st printing 10&1/4 x 6&1/8" (opened) double-sided bi-fold flyer/handbill commemorating the first year of shows held at the Fillmore East in New York City (3/8/1968-3/8/1969). Art by David Edward Byrd, this image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham FE series, but was issued to employees and friends as a commemorative in early 1969. Along with an astrological chart, the interior of the handbill thanks the FE staff (all named) and lists every single band/act that appeared from the opening show (Big Brother & the Holding Company with Albert King and Tim Buckley) until March of 1969 (Savoy Brown and Chuck Berry; other acts listed include the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Grateful Dead, the Who, Jefferson Airplane, Mothers of Invention, etc.) Medium flat textured index/card stock flyer is in fantastic mint/near mint (A/A-to A-) condition; a VERY crisp example of this Fillmore East oddity with a really sweet David Byrd design.
