Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" event flyer for "PARTY!", a benefit sponsored by the Student Mobilization to End the (Vietnam) War, held at an un-named venue (address is given as 1251 S. St. Andrew's Place) in Los Angeles, CA on 3/4/1967 and featuring live music performed by "the Upper Crust". Designer unknown/not credited, thin flat stock flyer is in used (B-) condition; a moderate amount of toning, a semi-flattened horizontal crease and a trio of thin vertical bends (item was folded into 1/8ths), staple/tack holes in all four corners with about 1" of paper missing from the lower right margin/corner, a 1/2" tear in the bottom center margin, a 1" tear in the right center margin, handling, a 3/4" tear and diagonal bend in the upper left corner, surface wear... this example looks like it was actually AT the party. While this piece won't win any beauty contests based on condition, it is still a fascinating oddball early Los Angeles-area artifact from a VERY obscure anti-war event.
