Original 1st printing 28&7/8 x 19&1/4" art show/event poster "El Chingadero", an art exhibit by Texas artist Boyd Elder, held at an un-named gallery/space in Venice Beach, CA from 4/2-30/1973. Art by Boyd's good friend, the legendary Rick Griffin- the image depicts Boyd's twisted journey from Texas to California in a Ford pickup. Thin flat index stock poster is in good to very good (B/B+) condition; a pair of 1/2" tears in the bottom right margin, a tiny nip out of the bottom right corner tip, a few tiny edge nicks and little edge tears (1/8" or less), a hint of surface wear (a few tiny smudges here and there), a 6" hard thin diagonal bend in the upper left edge (right above "Chinga"), a thin bend in the left margin and a couple of very well-camouflaged stress bends hiding within the image area, otherwise fine. An overall fine-looking example of one of Rick Griffin's Southwestern-themed early-'70's masterpieces.
