Original 1st printing (early 1970's California Graphics Exchange commemorative) 28&1/2 x 22&1/2" uncut printer's color test proof sheet (no black/final pass of ink) with a pair of concert posters for Frank Zappa (and the Mothers of Invention) appearing with Alice Cooper at Titan Gymnasium on the campus of California State University in Fullerton on 11/8/1968 and for Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band appearing along with Portable People at Crawford Hall on the campus of the University of California in Irvine, CA on 10/28/1968 (*show canceled/never happened). Art by Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 372 (plate 4.124 and 4.125). Medium-thick flat index stock proof sheet is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; light handling (a few stray pinch dings), a minor amount of surface wear (a few tiny soft pin-prick age spots and light smudges here and there), a series of semi-pronounced horizontal creases/bends going through the center of the image area from the left to right center margin, a 1/2" tear in the lower right edge, a small corner bend or two and a couple of tiny edge dings, otherwise fine. REALLY cool-looking (and unique) Rick Griffin item, there can't be too many of these out there!
