Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" sheet of office stationery (letterhead) from the 1968 write-in gubernatorial campaign of legendary Austin, TX head-shop mascot Oat Willie. The stationery features a small picture of Oat Willie, along with the address of the "State Headquarters" (A/K/A Oat Willie's head shop) in Austin.
Unused sheet is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a hint of edge toning and a few tiny "bug bite" edge nips, along with a few stray pin-prick age spots around the outer edges, a tiny 1/8" tear in the upper right margin and a whisper of surface wear, otherwise fine.
ULTRA-COOL original 1968 office item from one of Austin's earliest (and most infamous) head shops. Quite possibly one of the only examples of this ULTRA-scarce Austin item, this was found in an old stack of Vulcan Gas handbills (O.W.'s was a ticket outlet for the Vulcan).
