Original 1st printing 23 x 35&1/4" hand-pulled silkscreen concert poster for the 7/14-27/1967 grand opening two weeks of shows held at the Crosstown Bus in Brighton, MA. Artist unknown, the inaugural shows featured performances by the Mandrake Memorial and the New York Rock & Roll Ensemble (featuring Michael Kamen), along with lights by Jim Mazzeo and electronics by Stephen Schact. Medium-thick vellum stock silkscreen poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; tack holes/tape pulls in all four corners and a long thin pull in the left center margin, a few stray stress/handling bends, a tiny stray surface stain or two, a touch of toning, a semi-pronounced curl to the paper and a hint of toning around the outer edges, otherwise fine. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS psychedelic silkscreen from the opening week of the VERY short-lived Boston-area nightspot. First one of these I've ever seen!
