Original 1st printing/final state version (with silver-ink overprint) 5 x 7" concert handbill for the "Fire Dance" benefit (for poster artist Alton Kelley, whose studio had burned down) featuring the Steve Miller Band, the Charlatans and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks appearing together at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 6/12/1968 (*show was rescheduled from 5/8/1968 and was originally supposed to have included Jefferson Airplane, who dropped out).
Art by Stanley Mouse (who also SIGNED the piece in silver ink) & Alton Kelley, image (an uncut proof sheet) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 182 (plate 2.173).
Medium-thick flat index stock handbill is in GORGEOUS mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; maybe a soft corner tip or two, bit overall this example is VERY sharp. Great-looking late-period Carousel image with a nice large Mouse signature.
