Pair of original 1st/only printing concert handbills for Deep Purple appearing with It's A Beautiful Day, Cold Blood and Wild Honey at the Fresno Convention Center Arena on 4/25/1969 and the Steve Miller Band appearing with Admiral Strange and Asmodeus at Rainbow Ballroom in Fresno, CA on 1/18/1969. Art by W.T. Fisher (Deep Purple) and Doug Russo Studio (Steve Miller). The Deep Purple handbill (5&1/2 x 8&5/8") is on thin glossy card stock and is in fantastic near mint (A-/B+) condition; just a couple of nearly invisible surface scratches and a tiny water stain in the bottom left corner tip, otherwise fine. The Steve Miller handbill (6*&1/2 x 9&3/8") is on flat index card stock and is in decent (B/B-) condition; numerous small bends, handling dings, creasing along the left edge, a few stray diagonal bends, light toning, a few surface stains and tape pulls on the reverse, but it is still in presentable shape. Strange-looking pair of handbills for this set of 1969 concerts in Fresno.
