Official artist-issued 1982 2nd printing 12&1/4 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with It's A Beautiful Day and Theater of Madness at the H.I.C. Exhibition Center in Honolulu, HI from 7/25-27/1969 (*show canceled).

 

 Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Hawaiian Aoxoamoxoa") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 291 (plate 3.116).

 

 Medium-thin semi-gloss stock poster is in fantastic near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; just few stray fingerprints/tiny pin-prick age spots here and there, otherwise it is just a FANTASTIC-looking example of one of the most popular and enduring Grateful Dead images of all time.

 

 These were printed in the early 1980's by Rick and his old partner Jose Kent and were almost immediately bootlegged. The REAL official RG-issued ones can be identified by the ultra-sharp fine type along the bottom margin.
