Original 1st printing 13 x 22" concert poster for the Doors appearing with the James Cotton Blues Band, the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and local Detroit psych-rockers Jagged Edge at Cobo Hall (Arena) in Detroit, MI on 5/11/1968.

 Art by Gary Grimshaw with a photo by Joel Brodsky, image is # 84 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande Ballroom series. 

 Medium flat index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a pair of soft horizontal/diagonal bends and a tiny slight raised indentation just above Jim's head, a few tiny edge tears (under 1/4") and a small indentation crease running along the left margin, a 1/16" hard diagonal bend/split in the top right corner tip, a few ultra-soft handling dings and a touch of curl to the paper, otherwise fine.

Not only is this one of the most difficult (and oft-requested) images from the Russ Gibb series, it is also a GREAT-looking ORIGINAL 1968 1st printing Doors poster with absolutely killer Gary Grimshaw lettering.
