Original 1st printing (standard edition) 22 x 28" event poster for the 7/17/1967 opening of the Joint Show, held at the Moore Gallery in San Francisco, CA and featuring music by Country Joe & the Fish, plus exhibited art by Rick Griffin (who did this version of the poster), Wes Wilson, Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley and several others.
Art by the aforementioned Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 234 (plate 2.347).
Medium-thick semi-gloss coated index stock poster is in beautiful mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; just a few stray fingerprints scattered around the edges, but it is essentially as crisp/sharp as they come... an absolutely STUNNING example of this iconic 1967 Rick Griffin image from the AOR.
