Original 1st printing 23&1/8 x 34&3/8" concert poster for the Who performing their rock opera "Tommy" at the Fillmore East in New York, NY from 10/20-25/1969.

 Art by David Edward Byrd, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 158 (plate 2.94) and is image #10 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series.

 Medium-thin glossy stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a 1&1/2" tear in the top center margin (just above "Presents", it is sealed on the reverse with clear tape) a 1/2" pull with a small hole and couple of approximately 1-1&1/2" tears (also sealed on the reverse) in the right center margin, a few small creases/bends extending across the top margin and in the top corners, a few stray pinch dings and tiny stress creases hiding here and there, otherwise fine.
