Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 21&7/8" cardboard tour blank concert poster (with handwritten information) for Flint, MI hard-rock superstars Grand Funk Railroad appearing at Horton Fieldhouse on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal, IL on 3/23/1974.

 Designer unknown (photo by Lynn Goldsmith), medium-thick cardboard stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; aside from the aforementioned hand-lettered information box, there are a few very thin horizontal bends in the lower right quadrant, a soft diagonal bend in the top margin above "Live", a few stray surface scuffs, a 1" bend/pull in the top right corner and a couple of tiny (well-camouflaged) stress bends, otherwise fine.

 Neat-looking mid-'70s Grand Funk poster from the "Shinin' On" tour with a great photo of the band in action. The promoter for this show was/is a well-known individual of discriminating taste, admired by many and especially popular with ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes. A true renaissance man of the highest order.
