Pair of original 1st printing Rick Griffin/Victor Moscoso-designed concert posters for a set of Family Dog-produced 1967 shows held at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA and at 1601 West Evans in Denver, CO.
Both are approximately 14 x 20", printed on medium-thin flat index, in mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition and feature the Jim Kweskin Jug Band (with Maria Muldaur) as headliners. The Avalon poster is for a series of shows (with special guests the Sons of Champlin), held from 12/8-10/1967, while the Denver poster is for a pair of shows held on 12/1-2/1967 with Solid Muldoon as the opener.
VERY cool-looking set of ORIGINAL 1st-printing 1967 Family Dog posters in top shape by two of the most powerful designers of the era. KILLER!
