Original 1st printing 15 x 7" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Richie Havens and Little Andre in a benefit for the Black Man's Free Store, held at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 6/19/1968.

 Art by Ovid P. Adams, image (ticket) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 183 (plate 2.180).

 Medium flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a couple of stray tiny staple holes above "Adams", a soft flattened vertical bend in the center, plus a few scattered handling dings and a couple of light surface scuffs, otherwise fine.

 VERY hard-to-find Dead poster from the final days of the Carousel.
