Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 22" boxing-style concert poster for the Mothers of Invention (featuring Frank Zappa) appearing at the War Memorial Auditorium in Syracuse, NY on 2/25/1968. Extra-thick flat cardboard stock poster is in used (C/C+) condition; a hard horizontal center crease, a series of large wedge tears scattered up and down the left/right margins, a heavy degree of edge/corner wear, water/moisture damage, toning, etc... a good candidate for restoration. This example was definitely hung up in public and taken down by an enthusiastic teenage Zappa fan at the time of the show (keep in mind, this poster was displayed outdoors in the middle of an upstate New York winter....) While the conditional issues are very apparent on this piece, it is still a pretty cool (and REALLY unusual/oddball) late '60's regional Zappa concert poster from a fairly out-of-the-way venue.
