Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 21&3/4" concert/event poster for the 1st Northern California Folk-Rock Festival, held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose, CA on 5/18-19/1968.

 Poster lists performances by Jefferson Airplane, the Doors, Country Joe & the Fish, the Animals, Taj Mahal, Ravi Shankar, Electric Flag, Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin), the Youngbloods and Kaleidoscope (with David Lindley). Also appeared (not listed): the Grateful Dead, Crome Syrcus, Trans-Atlantic Railroad and more.

 Design by Carson Morris Studios, the image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 232 (plate 2.341).

 Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; a 1/2" tear in the bottom center margin, a few decent-sized crescent-shaped dings along the right edge, one or two stray thin stress bends and a bit of pencil scratch on the reverse, otherwise fine.
