Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event flyer for the 9/6-7/1969 Thunderbird Peace Festival, to be held at the Capilano Indian Reserve in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (*event canceled).

 Art by R. Sayer, flyer lists appearances by Pacific Gas & Electric, Grapefruit, Tim Hardin, the Youngbloods, the Collectors, Country Joe & the Fish, James Cotton Blues Band, Steve Miller Band, Southwind, Steppenwolf, Fields, John Mayall, Taj Mahal, Spirit, Albert Collins, Crow, Jethro Tull, Buddy Miles Express and Jefferson Airplane.

 Thin flat stock flyer is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a hint of surface wear, a few small folds and creases along the top edge (about to where it says, "Thunderbird") and a few thin diagonal bends in the upper left corner, otherwise fine.

 VERY unusual festival piece with a GREAT lineup and a decidedly Bob Masse-inspired design. Too bad the event never came off.
