Original 1st printing 18 x 28" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with special guests Suzanne Vega and Bruce Hornsby & the Range (and -not listed- Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones) Olantunji and Michael Hinton, Daryl Hall & John Oates (with T-Bone Wolk and G.E. Smith), Jack Casady (Hot Tuna/Jefferson Airplane) and the Muppets in a "Benefit for the Rainforest" at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY on 9/24/1988.
Art by Robert Rauschenberg, medium-thick glossy stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; just a few scattered tiny surface scratches, a stray fingerprint or two and a couple of very tiny corner bends, otherwise fine.
Nice-looking late-'80s Dead poster featuring a design by one of the most interesting and renowned fine artists of the 20th century. A VERY unusual Grateful Dead performance (full disclosure- I was at this one) highlighted by an appearance by Kermit the Frog (and Animal) from the Muppets on the arena screens between sets.
