Original 1st printing 17&1/4 x 22&5/8" silkscreen concert/event poster for the (Fifth Annual) Big Sur Folk Festival, held at Esalen Hot Springs in Big Sur, CA on 9/7-8/1968.

 Art by Ginny Jacobs, poster lists festival participants: Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Mimi Fariña, Arlo Guthrie, the Charles River Valley Boys and "special guests". This is the first of (at least) two different versions that were created for the event.

 Medium-thin flat index stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in good (B to B/B-) condition;  the center of the image has been hand-painted (at the time) with day-glo paint, plus a 1" tear in the bottom center margin, light to moderate handling wear, a few stray pin holes, a bit of edge wear, tape pulls on the reverse and in the bottom center margin, a few thin horizontal creases and a hint of toning, otherwise fine.
