Original 1st printing 1&1/4 x 2" concert/event ticket stub for the second day (July 4th) of the 7/3-5/1970 2nd Atlanta International Pop Festival, held in Byron, GA. Printed by Globe Ticket, a 3-day unused ticket is featured (with a poster) in the Art of Rock on page 390 (plate 4.178). Three-day event featured performances by Procol Harum, the Allman Brothers Band, B. B. King, It's A Beautiful Day, Captain Beefherat and the Magic Band, the Chambers Brothers, Mountain, Ginger Baker's Air Force, Richie Havens, Jimi Hendrix, the Hampton Grease Band, Taos, Ballin' Jack, Bloodrock, John B. Sebastian, Jethro Tull, Ten Years After, Spirit, Ravi Shankar, Terry Reid, Cactus, Gypsy and Johnny Winter, along with a "Symposium of Awareness" with Yogi Bhajan, a giant fireworks display, super jam sessions and more. Thin index card stock stub (028421) is in absolutely fantastic near mint (A-/B+) condition; aside from a touch of toning around the edges, it's basically clean.
