Set of TEN (10) original 1st printing 1970-71 issues of Seattle, WA underground newspaper "HELIX". Thin newsprint stock newspapers are all in good/decent shape- the usual amount of toning/edge wear, drying/brittle paper etc... however none of them seem to be missing any pages or have any "embellishments" (doodles, phone numbers, notes, etc.)- all are complete/intact. Each issue contains a plethora of hip boutique, head shop and music ads (concerts at Seattle Center with Joe Cocker, Paul Butterfield, James Cotton, the Byrds, plus Cold Blood, Santana, Mike Bloomfield and more at Eagles Auditorium), community news, classified ads and more. Very neat time capsule of the Seattle scene circa 1970-71.
