Original 1st printing 11 x 8&1/2" concert flyer for a benefit concert/event for San Francisco-based organization A.R.T.S. (Artistic Reorganization Throughout San Francisco) at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 7/17/1966.
Participants included: beat poet Allen Ginsberg, Sopwith Camel, the San Francisco Mime Troupe, M.C. Gary Goodrow (the Committee) and many more.
Design by "the Bill Spencer Gestetner Corp.", the promoter-issued image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 152 (plate 2.75)- this is an alternate/band-generated version.
Thin flat stock flyer is in fantastic near mint (A-) condition; a whisper of light handling wear, otherwise fine- a very crisp example of this EARLY Fillmore benefit item.
