Original 1st printing 16&5/8 x 21&7/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the New Riders of the Purple Sage at Hill Auditorium on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI on 12/15/1971.

 Art by (and SIGNED in black sharpie by) Gary Grimshaw, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 393 (plate 4.187).

 Medium-thick vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; a set of tack holes (one in each corner), a pronounced curl to the paper (it was rolled up for many years), a touch of handling and a couple of very tiny edge dings, otherwise fine.

 A very bright-looking artist-signed example of this classic Grimshaw Grateful Dead image, this particular example can be traced right back to the band's early-'70's inner circle.
