Original 7 oz. commemorative "rocks" glass created for a Cream performance at the Family Dog at 1601 West Evans in Denver, CO on 3/19/1968 (show was rescheduled). Designer unknown (the "Cream" lettering is by Martin Sharp), glass is in great/unused (as far as I can tell) condition- the story I got was that this was part of a set of bar ware issued to employees of the Denver Dog to commemorate some of the bigger sold-out shows at the venue (we sold glasses from the Grateful Dead and Doors shows in previous sales). I have no additional information beyond what I've already been told, but this glass (and others) came from an estate sale with a collection of Denver Dog ephemera, all of which was original. One of the most unusual Family Dog/Cream items I have offered, this glass (much like the last two we sold) is strictly for the ultra-sophisticated legal beverage-drinking obscurity enthusiast. Stay thirsty, my friends.
