Original 1st printing 29&1/4 x 44&3/4" extra-large "one sheet" movie promotional poster for the Maysles Brothers/Charlotte Zwerin 1970 film document of the 1969 Rolling Stones US Tour (culminating in the doomed free show at the Altamont Speedway), "Gimme Shelter". This version of the poster features a collection of stills from the film, including portraits of each of the Stones, along with members of Jefferson Airplane, Tina Turner, numerous crowd shots and backstage scenes. Medium-thick newsprint index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of factory folds (as issued) with a little bit of wear/fraying along a couple of the creases and a couple of tiny holes at the intersections of the folds (typical wear for an item that has been folded up for over 40 years), a few stray handling/pinch/edge dings and tiny surface scuffs here and there and a very hard-to-detect set of pin holes in each of the four corners, otherwise fine. VERY cool-looking Stones poster! Check out the trailer HERE:
