Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing with Andrew Staples at the Old Cheese Factory in San Francisco, CA on 11/12/1966. Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 186 (plate 2.185). Thin flat stock flyer is in decent (B/B- to B-) condition; a 1 x 3/4" chunk of paper missing from the bottom right corner, tape pulls/pin holes in the other three corners and in the top center margin, a few stray age spots across the top edge, a bit of toning, a bit of handling wear and a few tiny edge dings, otherwise fine. Classic early Mouse/Kelley image from the Dead's 1st anniversary party, this was one of only a very few events held at the venue. This particular example comes right from a VERY early member of the SF music scene who was there from the very beginning. Here's a nice compilation of live GD from 1966;
