Art by head Charlatan George Hunter featuring portraits by pianist Mike Ferguson, image ("Rock & Roll Ball") pre-dates the numbering system implemented by the Family Dog after Chet Helms took over several weeks after this show and is designated FD-VII in the Eric King guide. Thick flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a pronounced curl to the paper (it was rolled up for many years), a set of tack holes, a hint of light handling/surface wear (a stray surface smudge/fingerprint or two) and a 1/2" vertical tear in the bottom right margin, otherwise an absolutely FANTASTIC-looking example of this VERY EARLY and MEGA-SCARCE pre-numbered Family Dog poster.
