Original 1st printing 28&1/2 x 22" concert poster for the Who appearing with the James Cotton Blues Band and Magic Sam on 8/13-15/1968, Creedence Clearwater Revival appearing with It's A Beautiful Day and Albert Collins on 8/16-18/1968, the Grateful Dead appearing with the Kaleidoscope (featuring David Lindley) and Albert Collins on 8/20-22/1968, and Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with Spooky Tooth and Cold Blood on 8/23-25/1968, all shows held at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA. Art by Rick Griffin and Alton Kelley, image is #133 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in decent (B/B- to B-) condition; a moderate degree of edge/corner wear (creasing, numerous small tears/bends, a few stray pin/staple holes, tiny wedges of missing paper and little pull tears), a few surface marks scattered here and there (nothing too serious, a few little smidgens of tape residue), tiny stress creases, handling dings, tape pulls on the reverse... this example obviously enjoyed a fairly robust life. While not in trophy-level condition, this is still an overall very presentable example of an original 1968 oversized 1st printing Fillmore poster with killer Griffin/Kelley art and top-notch headliners.
