Original 1st printing 21&1/4 x 17&5/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing at the Charlotte (NC) Coliseum on 12/10/1973. Art by Simone, extra-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a pronounced curl to the paper (it was rolled up in a tube for many years), a set of well-camouflaged tack holes and slight wear in all four corners, a hint of toning, a hard 4" vertical bend in the lower left margin, a hard 2" diagonal bend in the upper right corner, a couple of tiny stress bends and scattered handling dings, otherwise fine. AWESOME Hells Angels-inspired design, this one is a "companion" piece to the (later reprinted) Duke University image from the night before (there is only one printing of this image). As a note of added provenance, this very poster was brought back from the concert by a long-time Dead crew member. One of the COOLEST early-'70's regional Grateful Dead posters I've ever had the pleasure of offering. Only part of the show (below) is available on the Archive, but the rest of the show is available as a download;
