Original 1st printing 15&1/2 x 23&1/8" event poster for "The End of the War", a Diggers-sponsored event held at the Straight Theater in San Francisco, CA on 11/5/1967. Artist unknown, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 199 (plate 2.219). Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from a set of tack holes (all four corners), a minor amount of handling, a few light age spots and a stray edge nick or two, it's pretty much as nice as they come. The photo in the Art of Rock poster does NOT do this poster justice, the colors are way brighter/more saturated in person.... very curious event, check out this interview with Judy Goldhaft and Peter Berg detailing Living Theatre founder Julian Beck's participation in the event;
