Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 22&1/2" concert poster for Country Joe & the Fish appearing with Shocking Blue, Pacific Gas & Electric, the Amboy Dukes (featuring Ted Nugent) and Ambergris at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL on 6/12-13/1970. Art by Laura Green, the image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 399 (plate 4.208). Medium flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a soft/slightly rounded upper left corner, a few tiny crinkles/edge tears along the left margin, slight curling (item was rolled in a tube for years and has one or two soft roll bends) and a couple of stray surface dings, otherwise fine. An overall superb-looking example of a really unusual low-run regional Midwest concert poster with a weird design.
