Original 1st printing 14 x 21" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Junior Walker and the All-Stars and the Glass Family at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA on 6/5-8/1969. Art by Randy Tuten, image ("Cool-Aid") is # 176 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a pair of very soft horizontal roll bends going over the "Bill Graham Presents" type at the top of the poster and another in the right center margin, each about 2&1/2", a few scattered fingerprints and a stray pinch ding/surface scratch or two, otherwise fine. An overall very nice-looking 1st printing example of the infamous "Cool-Aid" image. The 6/8 show was notorious for the assorted "backstage activities", which resulted in guest appearances from Elvin Bishop and Wayne "tha Harp" Ceballos (from AUM). Check out the madness HERE:
