Original 1st printing 15 x 22&/2" day-glo silkscreen concert poster for Janis Joplin (and Full Tilt Boogie) appearing with the Youngbloods, Pacific Gas & Electric and the Steve Miller Band at Sicks's Stadium in Seattle, WA on 7/5/1970. Designer unknown (printed by Washington Poster Co.), extra-thick cardboard stock poster is in decent (B-) condition; a moderate degree of edge wear, tack/pin holes (all four corners and around the edges), a pair of tape pulls over "With" and "Special", a long vertical bend along the right edge, surface wear (a tiny pull underneath the "Outdoor Concert" overlay), a bit of fossilized tape residue over "$6.00", scattered surface scuffs/scratches, etc... this one was quite obviously pulled down from public display back in 1970; still, an incredibly vibrant (and MEGA-scarce) low-run regional Janis poster from an obscure Pacific Northwest venue (a minor-league baseball field, home to the short-lived Seattle Pilots). First one of these I've ever had the pleasure of offering... a KILLER Janis piece.
