Pair of original 1st printing (no #5 -see close-ups) 14 x 20" (appx.) concert posters for early Bay Area pop/psych band Sopwith Camel on 2/6-9 and 2/11-12/1967, and the Only Alternative (and His Other Possibilities) on 2/10/1967, all at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA. Art by Victor Moscoso, image is # 5 in the Neon Rose series, this lot includes TWO (2) examples with different shades of blue ink (a lighter, more cobalt tone  as opposed to a darker navy blue tone). Medium flat index stock posters are in very good (light blue example) and excellent to near mint (A-/B+ to B+) condition; both examples have a few stray pinch dings, the light blue example has a tiny nip out of the top right corner, light edge creasing and a 3-4" horizontal bend going from the "el" of "Camel" to the right center margin, but is otherwise fine. Initially, I thought that I had two different printings (which may still be determined, the jury is out), but when the credits matched up, it turned out to be two versions of the same poster.... a fascinating study in contrasts, this lot is definitely for the hardcore oddball variant hunter. Very cool, indeed.
