Original 1st printing 5&1/2 x 8&3/8" thin paper blank-reverse handbill for the 10/31-12/28/1969 schedule of shows at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City; acts listed include: Mountain with the Steve Miller Band and the Move (10/31-11/1), Santana with Humble Pie (with Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton) and the Butterfield Blues Band (11/7-8), Johnny Winter with Chicago and Blodwyn Pig (11/14-15), Joe Cocker & the Grease Band with Fleetwood Mac, King Crimson and the Voices of East Harlem (11/21-22), Jefferson Airplane with the Youngbloods and Joseph Eger's Crossover (11/26, 28-29), Jethro Tull with Grand Funk Railroad and Fat Mattress (with Noel Redding, 12/5-6), Nina Simone and Richie Havens (12/12-13), the Incredible String Band (12/14), and Blood Sweat & Tears (12/26-28; the Allman Brothers Band were added as an opening act later). Design by Jerry Pompili, image is an un-numbered part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series; thin flat stock handbill is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a single staple hole in the outer ring of the black border, just to the left of "Joe Cocker", a slight horizontal curl along the bottom edge, a couple of very soft (nearly invisible) diagonal bends in the top left corner and right center margin and a couple of ultra-tiny surface pits, otherwise fine. Very neat little late '69 F.E. schedule with a killer lineup of bands (and a photo of Santana, one of Bill's personal favorites).
