Original 1st printing 14 x 21&1/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana and It's A Beautiful Day at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 12/31/1968. Art by (and SIGNED in black ink by) Lee Conklin, image is # 152 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. Medium glossy/coated index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a light amount of creasing along the top edge, a small bend in "Eve", a 1" diagonal bend in the bottom right corner, a few pieces of clear tape on the reverse, in addition to the usual moderate amount of surface scuffing/scratching that is inherent to these posters.... still not bad compared to most, a very decent SIGNED example of this great-looking Lee Conklin Bill Graham image. Unlike many of these that are floating around, this one has clean machine-trimmed edges (it was't sliced from an uncut pair). The FIRST Grateful Dead Winterland New Year's show.
