Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 11&1/2" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin), appearing in concert at Freeborn Hall on the Campus of the University of California in Davis on 2/23/1967. Artist unknown (no credit), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 259 (plate 3.11). Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in absolutely superb near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; a couple of very soft handling bends in the upper left corner and a soft vertical bend in the extreme right margin, otherwise it is a VERY sharp example of this great-looking Big Brother poster from the Art of Rock book.
